Spring Update & Two Small Games

As the last day of May arrives and I glance back at the past few months, I am searching for a moment to catch my breath... and looking at June and the family calendar for the summer and realizing things probably aren't going to slow down. Thanks to major work projects and numerous family/life events (positive and negative), I haven't had the same kind of time that I found in the winter.

That said, progress is still steady, if slow. I have a tentative goal for this summer of releasing the first six chapters of the 0.2.x version (what it would take to run the game), without the Midnight Vale/setting, Factions, Creatures, or GM Advice sections (which could be sourced from the 0.1.x versions). Of the intended bits, the last major segment I have to complete is the Sanctuary portion of chapter six (detailing your home base, improvement options, etc).

While a game the size of VIGIL demands a lot more effort to create and revise, I have found a few small windows of design creativity over the last several months. I made a small duet (2-player) card-based ttrpg and a saucy swashbuckling Lasers & Feelings hack that I just polished up this week.
